PROFESSIONAL
I practice law in Eastern Arkansas and Western Tennessee. I was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in 2003. I was later admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2004. I was approved to practice law in the United States District Court in 2004.
In 2005, I opened my own firm in West Memphis, Arkansas in Crittenden County. One year later, I moved my office to Marion, Arkansas where I practice now.
The city of Crawfordsville made me their City Attorney in 2011.
I am a member of Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Assocation of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and the Municipal League of City Attorneys in Arkansas.
I attended law school at Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis where I graduated in 2003.
PERSONAL
I was born in 1979 in South Carolina. A son of a Southern Baptist preacher, my family relocated several times during my childhood to Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and finally in Arkansas in 1986.
I was homeschooled during my elementary and high school years until I entered college at the age of 16. Initially, I attended Mid-South Community College, then transferred to Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and then transferred to Mississippi College where I graduated in with a B.A. in Communications in 1999.
